Island Explorer bus lines 5 and 6 both stop at point "F" (Northeast Harbor town pier) where the Beal & Bunker ferry stops.
Island Explorer bus line 7 stops at points "I" (Town of Cranberry Isles dock in Manset) and "G" (Southwest Harbor Upper Town Dock), where the Cranberry Cove ferry stops.
A grant from L.L. Bean pays for these buses, to keep the air clean and the roads less choked.
These free seasonal buses run between popular park sites and MDI towns, with the Village Green in Bar Harbor as the focal point of the system. You can even go free as far as the Bar Harbor Airport and the IGA food store in Trenton.
These free buses are the best deal in town! They run every day including weekends.
