| The Great Cranberry Island Historical Museum holds documents, photos, and artifacts of the life and times of those living on the Cranberry Isles, and especially Great Cranberry Island. This Finding Aid lists items we have in the museum. It describes each item, where it is stored, and sometimes also shows a thumbnail image. In future we will add more images. Each item with a thumbnail has a corresponding high-resolution scan on file at the museum. You will note many items related to the Preble, Stanley, Spurling, and Bunker families. Items span the time period from around 1800 to the present. Professional archival training, archival supplies used to properly store the items, and this Finding Aid itself were all funded by an Archival Grant from the Maine State Archives, under the New Century Community Program (January 2002.) |
