| DAVID JACKSON was an original Broadway and London cast member of Grand Hotel, the musical. He was also in the original Broadway and Japan cast of My One And Only starring Tommy Tune, Twiggy and Sandy Duncan. Other Broadway shows: La Cage Aux Folles, Tommy Tune Tonite!, and Eubie! starring Maurice and Gregory Hines. Appeared regionally at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theatre, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Seattle's 5th Avenue, Theatre Under The Stars in Houston, Sophisticated Ladies at Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake City, and Violet at Boston's SpeakEasy Stage Company. Most recently: Smokey Joe's Cafe in Utah, upstate New York, Rhode Island, and Idaho. As a teenager he performed The Sacred Concerts written by and under the baton of the late great jazz legend, Duke Ellington. He's been in three movies: Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta, The Wiz starring Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, and Lena Horne, and The Cotton Club starring Richard Gere. |
KRISTEN BLODGETTE has been associated with the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera since its opening, supervising (in addition) the U.S. national tours and companies in Australia, Hamburg, Switzerland, Belgium, Copenhagen, Stuttgart, Madrid, and Mexico City, where she co-produced the first Spanish-language cast recording. Additional musical supervision credits include Cats (Broadway and North American tours; Mexico and Copenhagen productions; conductor, national tour) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Broadway and Mexico productions; co-producer, first Spanish-language cast recording.) She was Associate Musical Supervisor of the Broadway, Los Angeles, and touring production of Sunset Boulevard, with Glenn Close, Betty Buckley, and Elaine Page. Other national tour credits include On Your Toes (with Natalia Makarova and Leslie Caron), Barnum and Jerry's Girls (Carol Channing). Additional work as an accompanist includes master classes with Placido Domingo, Kathleen Battle, and Sherrill Milnes. Kristen is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. She holds a Distinguished Alumni Award from that institution. The video is available as DVD.
